We recognise that physical therapy is the best, first line of defence against muscular pains. However, it is costly and inconvenient. Whilst passive recovery devices are low cost and convenient, they don’t provide long term relief from muscular pains. Suji is an active recovery device to relieve muscular pains. Feel relief in one session. Gain lasting relief after ten sessions. HSA/FSA eligible with a low monthly fee of just $4.99.
It is advised to keep Suji in the EVA carry case at all times. Regularly charge and ideally keep stored in a cool and dry room. For cleaning a household anti-bacterial wipe can be used to clean the compression garments or the device.
Staying connected to WIFI or cellular data is recommended. You will need connection to load instructional videos and to complete the first time setup. However, internet connection is not required for your devices to function after profile creation. Many Suji customers make sure of their devices in “offline mode”.
To determine your cuff size, use a tape measure to find the circumference of the uppermost part of your arm or leg. For your leg, measure around the top of your thigh. For your arm, measure just above the biceps, beneath the armpit.
Choose the cuff which is 1-6" longer than your measurements.
Examples:
Your arm or leg has a circumference of 28" -> choose the 30" cuff.
Your arm or leg has a circumference of 19" -> choose the 24" cuff.
Your arm or leg has a circumference of 17" -> choose the 18" cuff.

We’re excited to announce that Suji has partnered with Truemed to help you use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds for Suji purchases. If you’re making a full-price purchase, you can select Truemed at checkout, complete a quick eligibility survey, and use your HSA/FSA card. For deposit purchases, you’ll receive a link to Truemed in your order confirmation, where you can fill out a Letter of Medical Necessity to qualify for reimbursement. Suji’s products are eligible for reimbursement because they improve recovery, strengthen muscles, and provide immediate relief, promoting overall muscle health. If you have further questions, check out our HSA / FSA section in the FAQ.

HSA / FSA
HSA/FSA accounts were created so individuals could use pre-tax money to pay for expenses used to treat, mitigate, or prevent a diagnosed medical condition. Because HSA/FSAs use pre-tax money, you’re getting more purchasing power for your dollars. Rather than pay taxes on income and then spend it on health items, qualified customers can use pre-tax funds to invest in their health. An individual can contribute up to $4,150 pretax to their HSA per year, or $8,300 for a family (plus an additional $1,000 if you are at least 55 years old. Individuals can contribute up to $3,200 pretax to their FSA per year (with an additional $500 in employer contributions allowed).
Health savings accounts (HSA) and flexible spending accounts (FSA) are programs that allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars for eligible healthcare expenses. If you’re unsure whether or not you have an HSA or FSA account, please check with your employer or insurance company.
We do not recommend attempting to checkout with your HSA/FSA cards for compliance purposes. We strongly encourage simply transacting with your normal credit or debit card, and submitting for reimbursement as outlined above for the greatest likelihood of success.
For most FSA/HSA administrators, your expenses will be approved within days when you submit your claim for reimbursement along with your receipt and a Letter of Medical Necessity. The exact timing will vary based on your administrator.
If you have already received a Letter of Medical Necessity for purchasing specific products from a merchant, you do not need to complete Truemed’s survey again so long as your Letter of Medical Necessity remains valid. Letters of Medical Necessity are typically valid for 12 months after they are first issued. You do still need to submit your receipts for reimbursement with your HSA/FSA administrator.
The items in your Truemed Letter of Medical Necessity (“LMN”) are now qualified medical expenses in the same way a visit to the doctor’s office or pharmaceutical product is. There are thousands of studies showing food and exercise is often the best medicine to prevent and reverse disease. Exercise qualifies as a qualified medical expense with an LMN. Food, supplements, and other wellness purchases qualify as medical expenses if they treat or prevent an illness, and a doctor substantiates the need. Your Truemed LMN satisfies all IRS requirements to make your wellness spend fully reimbursable.
There is no cost to you, as long as you are shopping with a Truemed partner merchant.
You can use your HSA/FSA dollars all year long. However, FSA dollars expire at the end of the year and unused money may not rollover into the next year. Make sure to spend the rest of your FSA dollars before December 31st — use it, so you don’t lose it!
Yes. You can still submit for partial reimbursement. For example: if you purchase an eligible item for $100 but only have $60 in your account, you can reimburse $60 of your purchase with your tax-free funds (with the remaining $40 paid for as normal).
Please contact us at support@truemed.com so we can help you troubleshoot the issue. HSA/FSA plan administrators often have detailed requirements, so it may be as simple as re-issuing your Letter of Medical Necessity using the administrator’s form.
Technical Support / Troubleshooting
When powered on, Suji should display a flashing light. If no light appears, the battery may be depleted. Please try charging your Suji. If the issue continues after charging, contact customer support for further assistance.
When you connect the charger, a pulsing light should appear, indicating that the Suji is charging. However, if the device is off, you can still charge it. To verify if it’s charging, simply press the power button once. If no light is visible, there might be an issue with the device, and you should reach out to support for further assistance.
Ensure that Bluetooth is switched on on your phone/tablet.
Make sure your Suji is powered on and in pairing mode. You’ll know it’s ready when the light is flashing. If the light is solid, your Suji is already paired with a phone or tablet.
If you have multiple Sujis, try connecting to a different one to see if it pairs successfully.
If you have other Bluetooth devices, like headphones or a smartwatch, try pairing them with your mobile device or tablet to ensure that Bluetooth is working properly. If other devices are also unable to pair, try restarting the Bluetooth on your phone or tablet. If that doesn’t work, consider restarting your phone or tablet entirely and then attempt pairing again.
Note**:** All Bluetooth devices, including phones and tablets, have a limit on the number of active Bluetooth connections they can support at once. If you have several Bluetooth devices connected, this may prevent your Suji from pairing with your mobile device. Try disconnecting some devices to free up space for your Suji.
Make sure you have completed calibration for the specific body part. In the Suji Athlete app, you can find your most recent calibration dates for each body part at the bottom of the Calibration screen. In the Suji Teams app, these dates are displayed on the client screen in the Teams tab and on the Calibration screen in the Control tab after selecting a client.
Minimize movement: Try to remain as relaxed as possible during stabilization. Suji is highly sensitive to any movement, including small, involuntary movements, which can affect its ability to stabilize properly.
Device securely attached: If you’re using our latest generation of Suji, we recommend removing and reattaching the device to ensure it is securely and firmly seated on the cuff. This can help resolve any issues with pressure not stabilizing. If using an older version of Suji with a hose, please disconnect and reconnect the hose.
Inspect the cuff: Make sure the cuff is securely wrapped and has no visible leaks or damage.
Reset the device: Power off your Suji, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
Battery check: In rare cases, very low battery levels can affect performance, so ensure the device is sufficiently charged.
Update the firmware: Make sure your Suji and mobile app are using the latest firmware and software versions.
If the issue persists, contact customer support for further assistance by reporting a bug or issue.
Firmware updates for Sujis are periodically released and can be installed via the Suji Teams or Suji app. When your Suji is due for an update, the app will notify you. To check your Suji’s firmware version, navigate to the Device Manager in the Profile tab, where you can apply any available updates. The firmware update process typically takes less than one minute, and the app will guide you step-by-step through the installation.
You can update the Suji app through the App Store on your mobile phone or iPad. If you have automatic updates enabled, the app will automatically update whenever a new version is released.
We understand that bugs can occur, and we prioritize fixing them as quickly as possible. If you encounter any issues, please email us at tech-support@trysuji.com or use our Chatbot to create a support ticket.
